When branding, marketing and image can change a clothing accessory from novelty into fashion.
Looking back on 2010, our buckle best known as "The Beer Buckle," along with BevBuckle and Flipbuckle, was featured in over 15 publications from blogs, news articles, gift guides and event trend setting fashion.
How and why did fashionable happen?
It's all in the eye of the beholder. By resisting wholesale request to be in major retail stores, the buckle slowing started to change from common novelty into something else. With the tools of expressive and quality photography with trendy common looking models and common uses, we wanted our buckle not to be just for one consumer to just use for a good laugh, we wanted it to be actually a normal functioning clothing accessory that so happen to do more than hold you pants up. Something even cool.
Our reps., marketing and company screamed, "No way! We're just like you and I'm expressive, trendy and fun. Not perfect, not conglomerant, perhaps a old Van's wearing, maybe retired motorcycle lover, maybe a bar hopping professional, or even a rodeo wannabee, I'm you and you're us."
